Western Australia’s Contaminated Sites Act 2003 and Contaminated Sites Regulations 2006 took effect in December 2006 and were due for a statutory five‐year review.
Feedback from this consultation process helped government identify any changes which may need to be made to the Contaminated Sites Act 2003 and Regulations.
This paper provides background on the Contaminated Sites Act 2003 and its operation over the past five years and highlighted areas where we sought comment.
