This flood modelling and drainage study provides the pre-development site conditions and floodplain mapping of the North and South Ravenswood proposed development areas as identified in the Perth to Peel 3.5 million sub-regional frameworks.
It includes documentation on the development of 2D hydraulic MIKE FLOOD models that simulates minor and major rainfall events to provide predevelopment peak flow rates, flood levels and flood storage at key locations.
Floodplain risk management and land capability advice was provided to WA Planning Commission to assist in the determination of the land uses in the area. The report and determination are available on the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage website.
