The Policy Capability Framework identifies and defines four core policy capabilities:
- strategic alignment
- critical thinking
- communication and engagement
- policy implementation and evaluation.
The framework is based on national and international research and complements the public sector capability profiles.
Employees and Managers can use the policy capability assessment template to identify and assess capability for current and future roles.
