This document explains the process of the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety’s letter to parties concerning negotiations, the submissions received from Native Title party(s), the follow-up letter for re-submission, any party’s referral of the application for mediation by the NNTT, the submission received, the department’s attendance of meetings as required, the negotiations process and breakdown, the department’s participating in mediation conferences, the resolutions, the section 35 determination application by any party, and the State Deed agreement.
