Last updated:

This report provides the findings of an investigation of ambient concentrations of per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances in surface water and groundwater across the Perth metropolitan area.

Surface water was sampled in urban lakes at 38 locations on the Swan Coastal Plain and in four recreational reservoirs on the Darling Scarp.

Groundwater was sampled at 35 locations on the Swan Coastal Plain, with sampling locations selected to cover a range of land use categories including residential, industrial and commercial land, urban bushland and semi-rural land.
