Mining Rehabilitation Fund Yearly Report 21-22

99.9 per cent of MRF reports were submitted to DEMIRS by 30 September 2022. $40.75 million were assessed for the Mining rehabilitation levies. 287 infringement notices were served to tenement holders that failed to submit assessment information by the 30 June 2022 deadline. 277 of these notices were withdrawn by the 28-day notice period, leaving 10 of the 287 infringements to be referred to the Fines Enforcement Registry.
