Mining Rehabilitation Fund Yearly Report 20-21

99.9 per cent of MRF reports were submitted to DEMIRS by 30 September 2021. $37.6 million were assessed for the Mining rehabilitation levies. 162 infringement notices were served to tenement holders that failed to submit assessment information by the 30 June 2021 deadline. 155 of these notices were withdrawn by the 28-day notice period, leaving seven of the 162 infringements to be referred to the Fines Enforcement Registry.
