Mining Rehabilitation Fund Yearly Report 16-17

99.1 per cent of MRF reports were submitted to DEMIRS by 30 September 2017. $28.9 million were assessed for the Mining rehabilitation levies. 189 infringement notices were served to tenement holders that failed to submit assessment information by the 30 June 2017 deadline. 174 of these notices were withdrawn by the 28-day notice period, leaving 15 of the 189 infringements to be referred to the Fines Enforcement Registry.
