Annual report
This report summarises the key achievements, support and activities of the Mental Health Advocate Service (MHAS) throughout Western Australia over the 2021–22 financial year.
Last updated:

MHAS offers a free service that is independent of hospitals and government health services.

Mental Health Advocates work with children and adults with mental illness, throughout the state. Advocates protect the rights, and express the wishes of people in varying and often difficult circumstances.

In this report, MHAS seeks to present the experiences of the those we assist during the past year. As such, this report may contain information that is distressing for some people.
