South Metropolitan TAFE (SM TAFE) is one of Western Australia’s most diverse training providers with campuses from Bentley to Mandurah. Offering over 300 qualifications and servicing 25,000 students across its campuses and offshore in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America.

SM TAFE’s Defence Industry Pathways Program won the WA Industry Collaboration Award at the 2023 WA Training Awards and the 2023 Australian Defence Force Reserves Employer Support Award, in the Public Sector category.

SM TAFE is experienced in working with the defence shipbuilding and sustainment industry. Focusing on providing training for the defence industry and partnering to create a pipeline of skilled trade workers, para and professional workers to take up defence industry job opportunities.
