This study provides information on the of the available groundwater and groundwater resource potential of the Fitzroy Alluvium.
The study area focuses on the Fitzroy alluvial aquifer between Fitzroy Crossing and the estuary at King Sound, and includes the regional aquifers of the Canning Basin in the groundwater catchment of the Fitzroy River, as these aquifers also discharge into the alluvium.
