Water source protection plan for the Hester Dam Catchment Area
Last updated:

This drinking water source protection plan has been developed to help protect the quality of water in the Hester Dam Catchment to ensure the supply of safe drinking water.

The plan details the location and boundary of the drinking water catchment, which provides water to the Warren Blackwood regional water supply scheme that supplies the towns of Bridgetown, Hester, Boyup Brook, Nannup and Manjimup. It describes the water supply system, discusses existing and future land uses, identifies risks, and recommends management approaches to address those risks and maximise protection of the catchment.
