Last updated:

The Health and Medical Life Sciences Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) Scheme aims to provide WA Health and Medical Life Science organisations with funding assistance, where strategically aligned opportunities exist, to attract overseas or interstate entrepreneurs or experts for a time-limited residency role.

Up to $30,000 of sponsorships will be available to promote WA’s biomedical industry at a national and international level, with up to $10,000 is available in sponsorship per successful applicant organisation, who will host the resident entrepreneur for a short-term period.

EIR funds can go towards travel, living expenses, and limited remuneration costs. Host organisations will also provide in-kind access to staff, office resources, and cash support (as needed), as agreed to prior to the application.

Resident entrepreneurs are expected to deliver or contribute to a specific program, event, or schedule of activities during their tenure in WA which will help support the broader biomedical system.

Important - Please ensure you download and read the EIR Information Pack and Application Form prior to applying as it contains further information.
