The Exmouth Gulf Taskforce is preparing advice to the Minister for Environment on integrated management and protection options for the Exmouth Gulf and its surrounds. The Taskforce was established following the State Government’s 2021 commitment to enhance the protections for Exmouth Gulf and adopting the EPA’s Section 16(e) recommendations.
This forum follows previous community engagement by the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) in March 2021 and a presentation to the Onslow community in May 2024. The summary of the EPA community sessions are available online along with summaries of Taskforce deliberations to date. The Taskforce is keen to update the community and stakeholders with progress on its actions and advice to the Minister.
