This Lefroy Brook study was part of a larger program in which ecological water requirements were determined for the Brunswick River, Capel River, Wilyabrup Brook, Cowaramup Brook, Margaret River, Chapman Brook and Lefroy Brook.
These seven waterways and associated catchments were identified as priorities for research due to the high demand for water for irrigated agricultural, mining and water supply, and declining rainfall in the South West.
