The Taskforce is chaired by Rob Cossart, Chief Executive Officer of the Wheatbelt Development Commission.
The Chair provided an overview of the Taskforce outcomes and highlighted the important role the Taskforce has played in providing advice to the Minister for Agriculture and Food and connecting with industry to support the response to dry seasonal conditions.
The meeting discussions centred on lessons learnt from the response and preparedness for the 2024/25 season.
