Drinking water source protection plan for Busselton Water Reserves
Last updated:

This drinking water source protection plan has been developed to help protect the quality of water within the Busselton Water Reserves to ensure the supply of safe drinking water.

The plan details the location and boundary of the drinking water source, which provides the Busselton and Vasse town water supply. It discusses existing and future usage of the water source, describes the water supply system, identifies risks and recommends management approaches to address those risks and maximise protection of the water source.

The plan was reviewed in 2013 and again in 2020. The reviews consider changes that have occurred in and around the water reserve since the completion of this plan. The three documents should be read alongside each other to obtain all of the information about this drinking water source.
