This is the first drinking water source protection plan for the Bunbury East Water Reserve. It establishes a water reserve to protect two bores which form part of Aqwest’s drinking water supply scheme for Bunbury.
The plan assesses risks to water quality surrounding these bores and recommends strategies to address the risks to ensure a safe, reliable, good-quality and affordable drinking water supply for Bunbury now and in the future.
