ECU is an accredited Defence Industry Security Program (DSIP) member. Recognised as one of Australia’s first academic Centres of Cyber Security Excellence by the Australian Government, ECU delivers onsite bespoke cyber security training to Defence personnel, and undertakes research in the areas of cyber security, information warfare, maritime, engineering and health sciences.
Bespoke research and education offerings can be tailored to meet Defence and Defence Industry requirements, with a range of ECU facilities such as machine workshops, clean-rooms, specialised equipment and office space available for Defence and Defence Industry to conduct research and development activities.
ECU is a member of the Team WA group of universities that coordinate on Defence and security matters to achieve synergies across the academic sector.
