- Invested more than $6.3m in 70 projects through the Regional Economic Development Grants program.
- Won an Australian Biosecurity Award for our Statewide Array Surveillance Program – a marine pest early detection system.
- Commenced a five-year, $48m scientific research partnership with the Grains Research and Development Corporation.
- Coordinated approvals for, and started a 660km extension of the State Barrier Fence.
