Drinking water source protection plan for the Angove Creek Catchment Area
Last updated:

This drinking water source protection plan has been developed to help protect the quality of water being extracted from pipe-head dams in the Angove Creek Catchment, to ensure the supply of safe drinking water. The Angove Creek Catchment contributes to the Lower Great Southern town water supply scheme, which supplies drinking water in the south of WA - to Albany, Mount Barker and other small communities.

The plan shows where the Angove Creek Catchment public drinking water source area is located, its characteristics, existing and potential water quality contamination risks, and recommendations to deal with those risks.
