This administrative agreement was established support the collaboration and coordination between the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation and the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety when considering the impact on water resources by petroleum and geothermal activities regulated under the Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Resources Act 1967.
