2009 Redetermination of maximum permissible quantities of sulphur dioxide under the Environmental Protection (Kwinana) (Atmospheric Wastes) Policy 1999

Technical Report
This 2009 report describes the process and results of a redetermination of maximum permissible quantities of sulphur dioxide under the Environmental Protection (Kwinana) (Atmospheric Wastes) Policy 1999.
Last updated:

The Kwinana Environmental Protection Policy (EPP) was first approved in 1992 and reviewed without change in 1999.

While the regulations associated with the Kwinana EPP prescribe sulphur dioxide and total suspended particulates as atmospheric wastes for the purposes of the EPP, the primary focus of emissions management under the EPP has been on sulphur dioxide. Only sulphur dioxide is considered in this report.
