The Training Accreditation Council (TAC) is Western Australia's vocational education and training (VET) regulator. The Council operates within an agreed national VET regulatory framework and is the State VET Regulator under the nationally agreed standards.
As a State-based regulator, TAC enables State government oversight of the VET provider market, responsiveness to State-based priorities and risks, timely intervention and protection of the State’s investment in VET.
TAC has a strong commitment to reducing regulatory burden and delivers a client-focused approach to regulation that supports business improvement and delivery of quality VET outcomes. They proactively support the VET sector through their education program, providing specialised and practical professional development opportunities for RTOs and VET practitioners.
