Dr. Dempsey brings over 35 years of VET experience in Western Australia, with the past five+ years dedicated to police training, education strategy, stakeholder engagement, partnerships, policy, governance, and quality assurance. She has extensive expertise both locally and nationally, with over 18 years’ experience in VET regulation. This includes her role as a training organisation auditor and course accreditation reviewer for TAC and other regulatory authorities. Dr. Dempsey has a deep understanding of current national VET reform initiatives and has managed RTOs, gaining comprehensive insight into quality assurance, regulation and the RTO registration process. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Police Training Practice Division at the Western Australian Police Force.
