Leanne is the Department of Finance’s Deputy Director General Service and Invest, having previously held the role of Chief People and Culture Officer. As a member of the Corporate Executive, she leads the provision of corporate services to Finance, Treasury and GESB, and a financial platform for other central agencies.

Leanne has had a diverse career working across the public and private sectors leading teams to deliver corporate services and implement projects, as well as leading delivery of advice to Government.

She received the IPAA WA 2023 Human Resource Management Practitioner of the Year for demonstrating exceptional leadership, having championed and led some of Finance’s most significant future-focused people initiatives.

Passionate about diversity and inclusion, Leanne is the proud Sponsor for Finance’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan Committee, and the Finance Indigenous Network.

A Murdoch and Queensland University of Technology graduate, Leanne holds a Bachelor of Commerce, with a double major in Human Resource Management and Management, and a Graduate Certificate in Business (Public Sector Management).
