He is a member of the MCB Committee for Finance, Audit and Risk, and also on the Monument Assessment and Advisory Committee. In other roles, Darrell is a Board member at Perth NRM, and also at the Mundaring Arts Centre. He served as a Councillor and Deputy Shire President for the Shire of Mundaring. Darrell teaches a range of business subjects at Curtin University, including Economics, Strategic Management, Risk Management and Corporate Governance.
Alongside business issues, he has a strong interest in arts, environment and sustainability. Darrell holds a Bachelor of Economics, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment, a Graduate Certificate in Marketing, and a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a Professional Member of the Economic Society of Australia.
