Hillarys Boat Harbour, one of the State's busiest boat harbours, will receive some vital jetty upgrades to ensure these important public assets are well maintained.
The $6.8 million renewal project at Hillarys Boat Harbour involves the replacement of four jetties with new modern boat pen systems, as part of the WA Recovery Plan.
It is expected that works will be undertaken in a relatively short time, as quickly as possible, and staged to limit disruption to operators and users during the next three years.
Hillarys' existing users will be relocated to the other pens until their new modern replacement pen is available.
The investment builds on top of the new walking trails at Hillarys Boat Harbour, which were completed last month.
The three separate walks highlight key attractions along the way and help attract visitors and families to the marina to support small businesses, which have been impacted by COVID-19.
