- Funding available to schools across State to increase health and wellbeing of students
- Healthway's Healthy Schools Program is offering individual grants of up to $5,000
- The funding will support schools to develop projects that increase healthy eating and address e-cigarette use (vaping)
The McGowan Government today has announced a funding pool of up to $300,000 is available to schools to help implement projects that will increase the health and wellbeing of their students and the school community.
All schools across the State, or their Parents and Citizens Associations, can apply for up to $5,000 in funding through Healthway's Healthy Schools Program, and this year Healthway will prioritise applications that increase healthy eating and address vaping.
Applications are strongly encouraged from schools in rural and remote areas, those with students representing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, culturally and linguistically diverse communities and/or those experiencing disadvantage.

Applications will close at 5:00pm on Friday 24 March 2023.
Last year, Healthway's Healthy Schools Program awarded more than $300,000 in funding to 78 schools across Western Australia.
