Perth locks in Supercars SuperSprint for two more years
- New agreement secures Supercars Championship in Perth until the end of 2025
- Deal supports the Perth SuperSprint event as part of wider annual national Supercars Championship
- Proudly supported by the WA Government through Tourism Western Australia
Motorsports fans will enjoy at least two more years of Supercars Championship racing in Perth through a new sponsorship deal with the Western Australian Government.
The agreement will mean that Supercars will continue to race at the historic Wanneroo circuit in the Perth SuperSprint for a minimum of two more annual Supercars Championship events.
The Perth SuperSprint event is part of the national Supercars Championship and is the biggest annual motorsport event on Western Australia's events calendar.
This new sponsorship deal is proudly supported by the WA Government and delivered through Tourism WA, Supercars and the WA Sporting Car Club.
This year, the Perth SuperSprint attracted WA star racer Brodie Kostecki and other top drivers like Shane van Gisbergen, Chaz Mostert and Cameron Waters.
The sport continues to grow in popularity with attendance figures jumping by more than 12,000 compared to last year's event, with the 2023 Perth SuperSprint estimated to have injected millions of dollars into the local economy.
The popular three-day event also boosts local businesses through the tens of thousands of attendees it attracts, with more than 34,000 motorsports fans witnessing the action at this year's event.
The Perth SuperSprint has been a regular part of the Supercars Championship under various names since 1973, and has been supported by the WA Government, through Tourism WA, since 2011.
