The Perth Mint's 2022 precious metal coin and minted bar program launched today to an international audience of wholesale and retail distributors.

The locally designed products include: Australian Kangaroo gold, silver and platinum bullion coins; Australian Kookaburra and Koala silver bullion coins; and Kangaroo Minted Gold Bars.

As the first international mint to celebrate the 12 animals of the ancient Chinese lunar calendar, the program includes 2022 Year of the Tiger gold, silver and platinum bullion coins.

Since the inception of Gold Corporation in 1987 around 108 million bullion and numismatic coins and bars have been minted and sold worldwide, adding value to 360 tonnes of gold and 5,075 tonnes of silver.

This year The Perth Mint expects continued strong sales with quick sell-outs on the lunar 1oz gold and 1oz silver coins and increased demand for the silver Kookaburra and Koala coins.

The first coins will be available to purchase from Monday September 13 at The Perth Mint in East Perth, by telephoning 1300 201 112 or +61 8 9421 7218 (international), or online from: https://www.perthmintbullion.com/au

Purchasers can also check availability of the latest releases at leading bullion coin dealers.
