The McGowan Labor Government will invest $4 million in Mount Lawley Senior High School as part of its commitment to redevelop and upgrade secondary and primary schools in Western Australia.
Opened in 1955, Mount Lawley Senior High School is a well-respected school with a strong record of student success and achievement.
The school has a focus on languages and the arts with music, visual arts, drama and media studies programs on offer.
The works include an upgrade to various specialist facilities and the provision of new classrooms to cater for increased enrolments.
The upgrade, part of the State Government's $465 million investment in infrastructure at WA public schools will commence in 2019, are expected to be completed in 2020.
