Report on bus accident involving students sought

Education Minister Kay Hallahan has launched a full investigation into a bus accident today which injured students from Kwinana Senior High school.

Mrs Hallahan said she had asked Ministry of Education Chief Executive Officer Greg Black to prepare a full report on the incident.

The Minister said the investigation would follow a police report on the accident. It would examine whether there were any breaches of regulations and whether Ministry of Education practice, policy and procedures needed to be improved.
