Tuart College to have asbestos roof replaced

Tuart College will have an asbestos roof replaced as part of a $1 million asbestos cement roof replacement program through the Education Department.

Tenders have been called for the project to replace the roof of the gymnasium at a cost of $50,000.

Work is due to begin and be completed during the December/January school holidays. It is the Education Department's policy that no-one is on the school site at the time of asbestos roof replacement.
