Experienced executive named new Fremantle Ports CEO

Ports Minister David Michael has announced the appointment of Jodie Ransom as CEO of the Fremantle Port Authority commencing 1 July 2024.

Ports Minister David Michael has announced the appointment of Jodie Ransom as CEO of the Fremantle Port Authority commencing 1 July 2024.

Ms Ransom brings a wealth of experience having spent more than 30 years in the ports and marine industries.

She was previously the General Manager - Operations at FPA and is currently the acting CEO since the tragic passing of former CEO Michael Parker. She has previously held senior positions with CBH, Svitzer and Alcoa.

Jodie is the second female CEO of the Fremantle Port Authority, following the former Governor of WA, the Hon Kerry Sanderson, who filled the role from 1991-2008.
