Residents in the rapidly expanding Serpentine-Jarrahdale region are one step closer to having a progressive, integrated Health Hub on their doorstep with the forward works tender now open.

The $42.2 million landmark Byford Health Hub will provide healthcare close to where people live and work.

The Health Hub will provide a single-entry point for families and individuals in the Serpentine-Jarrahdale and surrounding region, with access to a range of primary care, community, social and specialist health services in one convenient location.

Services providers will be a mix of private and not for profit, in conjunction with a comprehensive range of on-site outpatient services provided by Western Australia

The Health Hub will be built in the Byford town centre and will encompass approximately 3,000 square metres of floor space.

East Metropolitan Health Service is coordinating the planning, development and commissioning of the project in conjunction with the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale and other key stakeholders.

The tender closes on 31 October 2024 and details about its requirements can be found at Tenders WA with the forward works due to start early 2025.
