Val Lishman Foundation launch

Mental Health Minister Dr Graham Jacobs today launched the Val Lishman Foundation Suicide Prevention project in Bunbury.

The foundation is a community-driven volunteer organisation and plays a brokerage role in initiating specific research, soliciting community and industry support, identifying key researchers and co-ordinating finance.

Dr Jacobs congratulated the Val Lishman Foundation on its 10 years of important work carried out in and for the community.

The Val Lishman Foundation medical committee contributes to ensuring the quality and relevance of research proposals and monitors the implementation of research projects.
