What we do
The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation provides assistance to farmers through:
- the Community Water Supplies Partnerships program, which provides grants of up to $100,000 for community water supply improvements in dryland agricultural areas receiving fewer than 600 mm average annual rainfall
- strategic community water supply plans and water deficiency arrangements
- management of strategic community water supplies.
