Metropolitan Region Scheme Amendment 1415 (Standard) - Children’s Hospice Site

The Minister for Planning has approved, as advertised, the above mentioned amendment to the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS). The amendment is shown on Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) Plan Number 3.2819 and is effective on and from the date of publication of the notice in the Government Gazette, dated 22 October 2024.

The purpose of the amendment is to transfer approximately 5,945m2 in Swanbourne from the Parks and Recreation reservation to the Public Purposes - Special Uses reservation in the MRS.

By virtue of section 126(1) of the Planning and Development Act 2005, the City of Nedland’s Local Planning Scheme No. 3 is amended to give effect to the reservation(s) included in Metropolitan Region Scheme Amendment 1415.
