The project area is comparable in size to some of the world’s largest and transformative waterfront redevelopment projects, such as Barangaroo (Sydney), Canary Wharf (London), and Hafen City (Hamburg).
While these projects have different contexts to Fremantle’s Inner Harbour, they demonstrate the potential for redevelopment of the precinct to accommodate a significant workforce and residential population that could have a transformative effect on Fremantle | Walyalup and surrounding areas.
