The WA State Government has been recognised as the place to work by potential future leaders, with three agencies named in the top 75 of this year’s Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) Best Graduate Programs.
Finance is Western Australia’s highest ranked government employer coming in at number 22 on this year’s list, followed by the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation at 40 and Main Roads WA at number 64.
Graduates entering the workforce rely on the Top Graduate Employers rankings as a definitive guide to finding the best place to work and kickstart their careers.
The rankings are determined entirely from survey feedback gathered from graduates who have spent up to 12 months working in an organisation. The rankings recognise employers who provide the most positive experience to graduates.
Graduate programs across the WA public sector provide university leavers with the opportunity to learn skills and make connections, while working on important programs that support the Western Australian community.
