The Department of Treasury is at the centre of Government decision making, influencing outcomes for the benefit of Western Australia. 

As a central government agency, we are proud that our workforce reflects the rich cultural diversity of our State, driving innovation, collaboration and a culture of excellence at every level fostering an inclusive workplace where our people are supported to grow and thrive.

Guiding the implementation and evaluation of initiatives that support our CaLD community, the Plan is aligned to our strategic priorities and workforce plans to support the Public Sector Commission’s Workforce Diversification and Inclusion Strategy for WA Public Sector Employment 2020-2025 and addresses the priority areas outlined in the Western Australian Multicultural Policy Framework (WAMPF):

  • Harmonious and inclusive communities;
  • Culturally responsive policies, programs and services; and
  • Economic, social, cultural, civic and political participation.
