Held at our Joondalup office, the inaugural event gave staff the opportunity to experience and learn more about Electric Vehicles (EVs).
Opening the showcase, Mark Burgess, Executive Director Organisational Performance, said one of the most compelling reasons to switch to EVs was the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
“Not only is it better for the environment, which should be first and foremost for our department, it is a lot more cost effective for the government overall,” Mark said.
Staff explored various EV models in our fleet, took short test drives, and had their questions about EV range and power capabilities answered.
Throughout the event, they were interested and engaged, keen to learn more about EV technology.
Our fleet team, along with visiting experts, gave valuable insights into the impressive benefits of EVs, leaving participants more informed and confident about electric vehicles.
The showcase’s success has led to planning for a similar event in 2025.
