The funds generated from MCB’s surgical metal recycling program after cremation provides ongoing support to CCWA in providing regional patients ‘a home away from home’ while receiving treatment in the city.

The MCB is pleased to donate $297,702.83 this week for the operational costs of the accommodation lodges available to regional patients.

One Jerramungup patient who travelled 450 kilometres to Perth for treatment, embodies the gratitude expressed by regional patients. “The facilities are great and the gardens make for a relaxing stay during a traumatic time, which I’m sure has aided my treatment.  But most of all it is the staff at Crawford Lodge that make this difficult time so manageable’.

The MCB’s eight-year partnership with Cancer Council WA has provided over $1.8 million in donations, affording regional patients comfort and support at Crawford and Milford Lodges during a challenging time.
