Relief payments available for residents impacted by the Mariginiup Bushfire

Payments of up to $4,000 available for residents whose homes have been destroyed or damaged by the Mariginiup Bushfire.

Emergency financial assistance of $4,000 will be available for eligible residents whose homes were destroyed or severely damaged in the Mariginiup Bushfire through the Premier’s Relief Payment program.

Those whose homes suffered minor damage will also be able to access a one-off $2,000 payment.

The relief payment can assist affected residents with expenses such as purchasing food and other essential items, as well as securing emergency transport, or temporary accommodation.

The Premier’s Relief Payment will open on Saturday 25 November 2023, managed by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
