Last updated:

On Monday 31 March, the Premier of Western Australia announced public sector reforms for the structure and functions of several public sector agencies, including the Department of Treasury, to better align with the WA Government’s vision for the future of our state.

As of 1 July, our agency will become the Department of Treasury and Finance.

All current Treasury functions will remain unchanged with the addition of the following two functions from the Department of Finance:

  • Revenue WA
  • whole of government procurement policy (including development and management of Common Use Arrangements, excluding State Fleet).

During this transition our priority remains on delivering the important programs and services to our stakeholders and the community.
