Propel is a unique opportunity to access leadership coaching in a peer group setting and apply your learning directly in the workplace.

For Dave Milos, Propel helped him build crucial insights that are helping him in his role as Team Leader Service Integration Management at the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage.

Like: don't try to ‘do change’ in one go; communicate early and just keep communicating.

Where previously 10 or 12 agency staff joined meetings with external service providers, there is just him and a colleague supporting these stakeholders. That’s a significant increase in responsibility to ensure service providers are supported and informed.

Dave says Propel helped him build the understanding and skills needed to provide clear, ongoing communication with his team and others, which is increasingly paramount.

“Propel has been really valuable for me to progress change at a pace and in a way that people can manage, which gets better buy in and builds stronger relationships,” Dave says.

Delivered by the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales, Propel offers 3 microcredential units, 4 times a year, that build the capabilities and insights crucial for effective and dynamic leadership.

Each topic runs for 10 weeks and the credits you earn can count towards a larger qualification. At the end of the program, you will have a personalised leadership blueprint that you can use to continue your leadership growth and development. You will also receive a digital badge formally verifying your achievement that can be shared on professional platforms such as LinkedIn.

Applications for the October intake (Cohort 6) are now open and close on Friday 1 September. Places are limited so find out more today.
