The Perth Casino Royal Commission has today submitted its Final Report to the Governor of Western Australia, the Hon Kim Beazley AC, and to the office of the Premier, the Hon Mark McGowan MLA.
The Hon Neville Owen AO (chair), the Hon Lindy Jenkins and Mr Colin Murphy PSM were appointed Royal Commissioners on 5 March 2021 to inquire into and report on the affairs of Crown Casino Perth, and its suitability to continue holding a casino gaming licence.

Public hearings were held throughout 2021, with those proceedings livestreamed.
The Commission submitted an interim report on the regulatory framework on 30 June 2021. That report was tabled in the Parliament of Western Australia on 3 August 2021.
The Commission was initially expected to deliver its final report by 14 November 2021 but was granted an extension till 4 March 2022.
Speaking on behalf of the Commissioners, Chair Neville Owen said the Commissioners wished to publicly thank all those who had assisted the Commission during the past 12 months.
“It has been an extremely demanding task, and we are very grateful for the dedication and commitment shown by so many people,” he said. “We particularly wish to acknowledge the work of senior and junior counsel assisting the Commission, solicitors assisting the Commission and the secretariat."
