Perkins (WA) Pty Ltd, Broad Construction Services (WA) Pty Ltd and Holton Connor Pty Ltd are the inaugural winners of the Department of Finance’s BMW Supplier Performance Awards, announced on Friday 21 September.
The award was presented in two categories: contractors (joint winners: Perkins and Broad), and consultants (Holton Connor). Colin Wilkinson Developments Pty Ltd was runner-up for the contractors award, while Zuideveld Marchant Hur Pty Ltd and The Architecture Group Pty Ltd t/a TAG Architects were runners up for the consultants award.
The awards recognise contractors and consultants which provided exceptional value on Government projects managed by the Department’s Building Management and Works business over the previous two years.
'Congratulations to Perkins, Broad and Holton Connor on achieving this recognition of outstanding performances that contribute to the Western Australian community', Department of Finance Deputy Director General, Phil Helberg said.
'This demonstrates the Government’s commitment to increasingly work with contractors and consultants, both large and small, which have an established track record in delivering superior project outcomes'.
The awards form part of BMW’s supplier performance framework which aims to ensure that works projects are managed effectively and efficiently, and provides a mechanism through which both exemplary and unsatisfactory performance can be recorded, communicated and acted upon.
