Embedding Integrity: Integrity Strategy for WA Public Authorities 2024-28 is now online.
This strategy follows on from the first strategy released in 2019 that focused on getting the foundations in place through an integrity framework supported by a toolkit of resources.
The new strategy focuses on having integrity running through everything in the government sector as a matter of course. It further supports authorities to use the Commission’s toolkit of resources through actions such as formal education and communities of practice; and targets additional support for identified authorities.
It picks up on specific aspects of integrity that can deliver value such as pre-employment screening, speaking up and reporting, managing discipline processes, and better use of data to monitor the integrity environment.
“I expect every authority head to implement this strategy to strengthen integrity across the entire government sector,” says Public Sector Commissioner Sharyn O’Neill PSM in the introduction.
